You may think it's outside your budget, but it's not.
"I know I need a website, but I can't afford someone to build it for me." It's a comment I have heard often from small business owners. While it may not be feasible for you to hire your own full time Marketing person, Alphomega Marketing is here to partner with you to create a great website on both the front and back end, at a price you CAN afford.
What exactly does that mean? Good question.
Many small business owners, thinking the cost is outside their budget, have a family member or close friend build a website for them. This person may (or may not) have some basic knowledge, but are they an expert in creating a great website? They may be fully capable to create something that “functions” and “looks OK.”
This, however, is the critical component. If new customers can’t find you online you likely won’t earn their business.
That’s where Search Engine Optimization (SEO) comes in. What’s SEO? You’re asking all the right questions.
When a potential customer wants to find a product or service online, they go to Google, Bing, Yahoo, or another search engine. After typing in a few key words or a sentence a results list populates. Those results are based on many factors which vary slightly between various search engines, but it's all based on what they can READ from your website.
Besides the written content of your website there are also pictures. News flash: search engines cannot “read” pictures. If you have pictures of your products you need to tell Google what it is. You also need to create vital key words about your overall website. Those are just two of the components of SEO and many people have little to no knowledge that this exists let alone how to create this additional “back end” content so people can find your website.
